Holbrook Garden Park

Holbrook Garden Park features a Little Free Library, benches, and a small pavilion.

Joe Louis Greenway

The Joe Louis Greenway is 30-mile recreational pathway connecting 4 cities: Detroit, Highland Park, Dearborn, and Hamtramck. 

Pope Park

Pope Park features seating areas, a statue commemorating the visit of Pope John Paul II to Hamtramck, and a mural.

Sarah Garrett Park

Sarah Garrett Park features a pavilion, seating, and open space.

Salam Peace Park

Salam Peace is a pocket park with benches and a small playground.

Veterans Park

The Veteran Park of Hamtramck is the city’s largest park. It features a paved exercise trail, playground equipment, the veterans’ memorial (including the grave of Hamtramck’s namesake, Col. Jean-Francois Hamtramck), several historical markers, and facilities for tennis, futsal, soccer, volleyball, and more!

Veterans Park features the Elaine and Roger Zatkoff Playground, a brand new playscape featuring tunnels, slides, swings, and sun shades for children.

It is also home of Historic Hamtramck Stadium, and is part of the Hamtramck Parks Conservancy.

Zussman Park

Located across from City Hall, between Yemans and Evaline. It features benches, picnic tables, a Little Free Library, and hosts a number of community events throughout the year.

Park Reservations

To reserve one of these six parks, please fill out the Park Rental Application on the the Community and Economic Development page.

Bring in your fee and form to Hamtramck City Hall or Mail to City Hall, c/o Community & Economic Development.

The City of Hamtramck does not manage Pulaski Park or Jayne Park.
